Thanks for that scripture on 'guarding the heart', sis - its so true we don't see a need to guard our hearts these days as much as we should. I am not even sure if any know what that even looks like. I will come back at ya, and see if i can make it plain. (smile) ~ Peace.

Scripture says we are to guard the heart for out of it flows the issues of life...I don't think we take the "guarding and securing" of our life lessons seriously enough. I was speaking to someone today about how spiritual warfare affects every part of our lives all the situations and issues we live through have been or are being filtered through our head, heart and hand issues we experience and learn from! When wereally get it, we live it, as naturally as putting on our clothes or eating when hungry we don't even have to think about it it's just habitual/natural! My prayer is we get serious about living out that purpose and call as stated JenRene then we'll see some real application and growth equipping the body for kingdom building and giving and receiving God's BEST!

Don't be sorry bother Tim! The words of wisdom from you and Sister JenRene are welcoming. "We are His Workmanship!" Keep up the good work Owens Family. Many Blessings.

It is important for God's will and purpose in our lives to move from our head to our heart, but it is just as important that it move from our hearts to our hands. That is to say once we know what God wants us to do, and we believe in our hearts that we should do it, we must actually cause it to come to fruition by taking action on it. God says "if you love me, keep my commandments." The inference being that if you don't love me you won't keep my commandments. The Bible says you will know a tree by the fruit it bears. We are not to judge others, but we are supposed to inspect their fruit (and even more importantly our own fruit).

In any case, it all boils down to the fact that (as the young people often say) "it is what it is." In the end, if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...you can bet your bottom dollar it's more than probably a DUCK! So again, until it moves from our head, to our heart, and then ultimately from our hearts to our hands, it won't produce the tangible fruit in our lives that God ultimatley expects and desires of those of us who call Him Lord. (Sorry for the length. I tend to be a bit verbose at times. God Bless Ya Real Good!
